Building a Life-long Community On and Off the Mat

​​The Maryland Female National Wrestling Team peaks at multiple events throughout the year. 

​

The "main event" is the USA Wrestling Women's National Championships sponsored by the United States Marine Corp. This event has traditionally been in the spring and it currently includes a wide age range from 8U to U23. 

​

The second peak would be each summer as our National team prepares for Nationals Duals and for Fargo, in North Dakota. Fargo has been home of the largest wrestling tournament in the United States for quite some time where each state is challenged to bring their best high-school aged wrestlers to come grapple it out in brackets that touch the floor. 

​

Women's wrestling is one of the fastest growing sports in our country and we are proud that Maryland is contributing to that growth.
