The 16U & 19U Boys Maryland National Team peaks each year in Fargo, North Dakota. Fargo has been home of the largest wrestling tournament in the United States for quite some time where each state is challenged to bring their best high-school aged wrestlers to come grapple it out in brackets that touch the floor.
The selection of our National Team that we take to Fargo occurs at the Maryland State Freestyle and Greco-Roman Championships each spring. If you place in the top 4 of that tournament then you've earned an opportunity to venture to Fargo. On top of Fargo, we also field dual teams to complete at the age/weight National Duals.
