About Beat the Streets
At Beat the Streets Baltimore, we believe in the transformative power of wrestling and education. Our mission is to empower Baltimore’s youth by providing access to competitive wrestling and individualized academic support, ensuring they grow into well-rounded, successful individuals.
Founded with the vision of creating a positive impact in the lives of young people, Beat the Streets Baltimore partners with the local school system and community organizaitons to offer a holistic approach to youth development. Our program is not just about wrestling; it’s about building character, discipline, and resilience that extends far beyond the mat.
MIssion
The mission of BTS is to provide disadvantaged youth with a positive environment that nurtures physical and mental development through wrestling, mentoring, and tutoring programs. Our goal has been to develop a network of BTS program sites throughout the Baltimore area’s underserved communities.

Kids achieve more, productivity goes up, and risky behaviors go down. BTS offers after-school programs in Baltimore to keep kids safe, boost student success.
MENTORING
Mentoring can provide easy access to supportive relationships with caring adults when they are in need. They also may provide a positive relationship that could act as a corrective emotional experience.
