The 6th Annual MSWA Girls Folkstyle State Tournament will be held on February 10th - 11th at The Show Place Arena located in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Important points:
Girls may compete in both the MSWA Girls Folkstyle State Tournament as well as the MSWA Youth State Tournament. However, since these tournaments will be running at the same time, wrestlers must be ready to compete in either tournament when their name is called.
Entry fee for the State Tournament is $50 and walk-in registrations will not be allowed.

Nicole Woody and Helen Maroulis not only put Girl’s Wrestling on the map for Maryland, but they also each represented the sport at the highest level and competed for Team USA, have paved the way for all girls in the US and Helen became the first US Woman to win an Olympic Gold Medal!
The MSWA presents the 6th Annual MSWA/USAW-sanctioned Maryland Girls Folkstyle State Championship. The event is designed to offer girls the chance to compete against other girls to celebrate and be recognized as a State Champion!
